We Are Here To Serve You
In November of 2002, we moved to our current location at 612 Franklin Street, Clearwater, Florida. And with the support of our many community partners, expanded services to include youth programs, intensive family support, mental health counseling and more. The Hispanic Outreach Center continues to be the only multi-service center of its kind in Pinellas County. To date more than 18,000 services have been provided.
The Hispanic Outreach Center was founded as a partnership with the Clearwater Police Department in 2000. Our goal was to provide interpreter services for police officers in the course of their duties and to provide advocacy for Spanish-speaking crime victims. Our Services quickly expanded to include English classes, education seminars and legal clinics.
In 2009, we incorporated as the InterCultural Advocacy Institute, an independent 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. We are committed to strong families, resilient youth, integrated community, educational opportunities and human rights.
